2 Pork Chops
12oz Potatoes
1tbsp Mustard
75g Green Beans
1tbsp Dry Rub (for pork)
1/2 Broth Cube
4oz Cream
100g Mushrooms
4 Garlic Cloves
1 Shallot
4g Parsley
1tbsp Butter (not included)
1tbsp Olive Oil (not included)
.5cup Water for Broth Cube (not included)
4 Pork Chops
24oz Potatoes
2tbsp Mustard
150g Green Beans
2tbsp Dry Rub (for pork)
1 Broth Cube
8oz Cream
200g Mushrooms
8 Garlic Cloves
2 Shallot
8g Parsley
12tbsp Butter (not included)
2tbsp Olive Oil
1cup Water for Broth Cube (not included)
Cook the potatoes
As desired, peel the potatoes and then, cut into cubes. Put in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook 10-12 minutes until tender. Drain and mash with a knob of butter, salt and pepper.
Setup
Thinly slice the mushrooms. Chop the shallot and the parsley. Cut both ends of the beans. Put the broth cube in the water for broth.
Sear the pork
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium high heat. Add salt and pepper to the pork. Sear 1-2 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan. Add the mushrooms and the shallot to the pan and cook 2 minutes.
Make the sauce
Add the mustard, cream and the broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, put the pork back in the pan and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Cook the beans
Bring a small pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the beans 2 minutes. Drain. Mix with the parsley, a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper.
Plate your dish
Serve the pork with the sauce, mashed potatoes and the beans. Bon appétit!
