COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Preparation

Cut the pepper and the tomatoes into cubes. Cut the shallot into quarters and detach the layers. Thinly slice one cucumber and grate the other. Chop the oregano. Cut the chicken into cubes. Cut the pita bread into small triangles.

Step 2

Cook the chicken

Place the chicken, bell pepper, shallot and spices in a bowl. Add a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper. Toss to coat the meat very well. Place the chicken and then vegetables onto the skewers. Repeat till done. Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook the skewers for 10-12 minutes on each side until the chicken is cooked through.

Step 3

Make the sauce

Mix the sour cream with the oregano, grated cucumber, the juice of half a lemon, a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper. Mix the tomatoes with the other cucumber, a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper.

Step 4

Make the pita chips

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the pita for 1-2 minutes on each side until crispy. Transfer to a piece of paper towel. Add salt.

Step 5

Plate your dish

Serve the skewers with the chips, sauce and salad. Add lemon juice to taste.
